The parish is organising a day of quiet prayer and reflection in the lovely setting of Gougane Barra on Sunday August 22nd from 12 noon to 5pm.
It will be an opportunity to familiarise yourself with Mindfulness, Mindful walking and Mindful Photography (bring your camera). The facilitator on the day will be Ber Mulcahy.
At 12 noon we will be met by a local historian at Gougane who will outline the history of the local area. Afterwards the day will combine quiet reflection and mindful inputs to support, strengthen and revive the practice of mindfulness for those experienced and equally those wishing to foster a mindful practice.
