Bishopstown Meals on Wheels urgently needs volunteers to help with delivery and with kitchen duties. Whereby we do have some people from various government sponsored schemes helping out we still need volunteers who are the backbone of this very important service to those vulnerable members of our community. People who come from various schemes are for the greater part temporary and passing through but all volunteers are a permanent much needed fixture in the service and provide the stability required to maintain the high standard that has been set by the group over a long number of years.
If you have some time to spare we would ask that you might consider volunteering to the worthy cause and help your local community. The commitment is small and if you are interested will be explained fully to you.
